January 2012 Book

We are choosing to read a LONG classic book! To accomplish this, we will do it over two meetings, and give us a little longer time frame to read. Book: Anna Karenia, by Leo Tolstoy. The version chosen is Oprah's book club edition, translated by Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky. Elise will host the first meeting on January 7, 2013. Read up to part 5. Joan will host the 2nd meeting, time to be set at January meeting. Happy reading!

We are getting these books through a Scott County Public Library program - Book Club Kit. Awesome! Get a set of 10 books, discussion questions and a bag to tote them in. What a great deal!

This book looks interesting - local (Minnesota) connections. Reading the jacket makes me think: do I really know my neighbors???
