January 2012 Book

We are choosing to read a LONG classic book! To accomplish this, we will do it over two meetings, and give us a little longer time frame to read. Book: Anna Karenia, by Leo Tolstoy. The version chosen is Oprah's book club edition, translated by Richard Pevear and Larissa Volokhonsky. Elise will host the first meeting on January 7, 2013. Read up to part 5. Joan will host the 2nd meeting, time to be set at January meeting. Happy reading!

After a summer break, we met again to discuss our October book, chosen by our hostess, Linda Smisek. She chose the thriller The Burying Place by Minnesota author Brian Freeman. This book is part of a series. The author's website
